Common questions

The times look wrong for my location.

SkyCake always shows times in the local time of the place you are viewing, with the time zone next to them. Check the place name at the top of the Today tab: if you picked another place earlier, tap it and choose Current Location.

The compass or the AR paths point the wrong way.

The compass in your iPhone is easily disturbed by metal, magnets and cases with magnets. Move away from cars and railings and move the phone in a figure 8 until the accuracy badge improves. AR works best outdoors.

The app can't find my location.

Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > SkyCake and choose While Using the App. You can also tap Choose a place manually and search for any city.

I bought SkyCake Pro but it is locked.

Open Settings in SkyCake and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.

How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your iPhone open Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Refunds are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The widget shows a different place.

The widget follows the place you last viewed in the app. Open SkyCake, pick the place you want, and the widget updates shortly after.
